cGMP Monitoring System LMS Pharma – HPS Pharmacy

HPS
HPS and its network of HPS Approved Pharmacies is one of Australia’s leading providers of pharmacy services to health facilities, including private hospitals, cancer centres and correctional facilities.

In line with User Requirement Specification LAF tech designed and delivered into this truly world class facility another Lighthouse LMS Pharma based EMS system with then Australian Standard Lighthouse R5104P Remote Particle Counters for Grade and Grade B areas. The R5104P Remote Particle Counters contain an in-built vacuum pump, eliminating the requirement for a central vacuum system. The R5104P particle counters were exhausted back into work zone or return air plenum in order to avoid contamination of the room air. LAF tech were also contracted to supply and commission contamination control Grade A Laminar Flow and Cytotoxic Safety cabinets and to provide Clean Room test and Certification mechanical testing works

Grade A and Grade B Air Particle Concentration Sampling is achieved via 316 stainless steel isokinetic sample probe, placed as close as practically possible to critical operations. During facility cleaning these probes have the ability to be capped with a vacuum seal and relief valve, 316 stainless steel cap.

The Lighthouse LMS Pharma system was configured for one server to provide the main data collection and data historian functions, and another to act as the redundant backup, automatically taking over monitoring and data storage tasks in the event of a main server failure.

An HMI or touch panel display was also delivered as per the URS for data review, acknowledgement of alarms, and general system control performed by operators working in the GMP facility. As this touch panel communicates over the dedicated EMS network, in the event of HPS network failure this panel will continue to operate and provide access to the system, providing a level of redundancy in terms of system accessibility and control.

The EMS also monitors room Pressure and temperature humidity conditions using combined Relative T/H sensors.

Delivered/Validated November 2015

LAF tech continues to support the system ongoing providing both onsite onsite and remote technical support.  Our in-house NATA accredited Laboratory routinely receives system Lighthouse Remote Particle counters for annual ISO 21501-4 calibration service.

Another LAF tech Project delivered with Our Australian industry Standard Lighthouse LMS Pharma Software (SCADA) with Lighthouse Remote Particle counters.
