LAF tech is proud to announce the successful delivery and commissioning of a customised Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) at the facility of AdvanCell, an innovative radiopharmaceutical company spearheading the development of Targeted Alpha Therapy – a next-generation cancer treatment offering new hope to patients with previously untreatable conditions.
The project, entrusted to LAF tech in November 2024 and completed in April 2025, was designed to meet the highest industry standards for cleanroom and critical environment monitoring. Built around the robust Lighthouse LMS Pharma 8 platform, the system delivers reliable, real-time data integrity across the AdvanCell site.
System Features and Scope of Supply
The EMS was developed with a two-database server architecture, configured in a Hot Standby pairing to provide redundancy and ensure continuous data acquisition. A custom-built System Control Cabinet, designed, assembled, and tested by LAF tech’s technical team, houses the system core.
- 8 Relative Humidity and Temperature Sensors
- 4 Room Temperature Sensors
- 11 Equipment Monitoring Points across Fridges, Freezers, and Incubators
- 12 Differential Pressure Sensors for cleanroom pressure surveillance
- High-level integration of HotCell parameters (Airflow, Pressure, Temperature, and Humidity)
- Seamless connection of third-party particle counters via OPC for full system visibility
